This happens because the update is almost all in the radio firmware, where the processing occurs. SmartSDR on the pc, Mac or whatever just visualizes the state of the radio at a rate based on the fps…1 -

The problem is much worse if individual inverters are used at each panel. Preferred method is to use one main inverter, then noise mitigation only need be applied to the one device.1
